Richard Liang has been a documentary producer for many years. Liang’s notable works include “The Next Life”, “The Road”, and “After the Rain”, which have garnered significant recognition, including the Best Chinese Documentary Award at TIDF in 2016, as well as Special Mentions at DOC NYC in 2021 and 2016. Beyond his expertise as a producer, Liang possesses experience in distribution, event organizing, and peer work reviews; he scouted Chinese films for IDFA from 2013 to 2018 and was on the IDFA jury in 2015.
